Now in it's fourth year of trading, Naughty Mutt Nice goes from strength to strength.
Our staff are fully trained, and all have past experience in dog handling, animal anatomy and animal health. All breeds of dog are welcome in the grooming parlour, but there is a 40kg weight limit for our dog bath. We are fully insured by Pet Business Insurance, and registered at The Henley Vets.
Terms & Conditions
PRICES
Prices for dog bathing and dog grooming packages are based on breed, condition of coat and time taken to complete the service. While we can do our best to provide an approximate price range over the phone, you’ll get the most accurate quote if we can assess your pet in person.
BEHAVIOUR
We reserve the right to muzzle any uncontrollable or bite happy dog. The grooming area is considered a sensitive area and we will do whatever is necessary to keep safety as priority. Any uncontrollable guest will need to be sent home and the full charge of the grooming will still apply. We will not force any guest into a grooming service.
HEALTH
All customers must be registered with a local vet, and dogs must be up-to-date with boosters, flea-treatments and worming treatments. If a dog is found to have fleas, an additional £5 will be charged for the time spent treating the grooming room, towels and grooming equipment.
APPOINTMENTS
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy, except for emergencies. If you have simply forgotten, we would ask that you would pay the cost of the grooming appointment. We are a small business, and only groom one dog at a time. We believe this one-to-one personal service is what makes us so good – if you can’t keep your appointment, give us enough time to offer it to someone else.
PLAY YOUR PART
Please note: 90% of dog care should be done at home. If you want your dog to have a long-coat typical to its breed, i.e. a labradoodle - it needs to be brushed by you, regularly. If a dog is matted, our job is to remove these mats. The most pain-free, stress-free way to do this is by clipping the coat, but this means your dog will have a short haircut. If you don’t like this, then remember to brush your dog thoughrougly.
TIMEKEEPING
We will allot each dog an exact period of time for his or her groom. Please drop off and collect your dog promptly. Any dog left with us longer than 30 minutes past the agreed pick up time will result in a £10 extra daycare fee per hour. Sometimes we will run over the time given if your dog’s groom has been a bigger job than anticipated. Please be patient with us, we like to do our job properly. However, we will endeavor to inform you of late running at least 30 minutes before the agreed pick-up time.
